The Right Step® hoof conditioner uses natural resins and plant extracts to preserve the correct moisture balance within the hoof capsule, promoting a healthy, pliable hoof without the greasy residue of petroleum or tar based products. The moisture barrier created by The Right Step® repels environmental moisture while retaining natural hoof fluids. The Right Step® does not foster harmful infection because the hoof can breathe through the coating. The resin coating creates a barrier to moisture, thereby protecting the hoof capsule form softening during wet conditions. When conditions are dry, the natural hoof oils are retained within the hoof, lessening the drying and cracking of the hoof wall.
